Part of Periodicals, I

The second issue of Harriet Monroe’s Poetry, one of the hardest to come by. Containing a review, by EP, of An Anthology of Modern Bohemian Poetry, poems primarily by Petr Bezruč translated by Paul Selver (Selver’s first contribution to the New Age) who met Pound through Orage and soon came to be among les jeunes (H.D., Aldington, Flint). Also contains the announcement that EP will act as the magazine’s foreign correspondent. A very good copy; staples rusting through covers (internally unaffected), light crease to bottom corner, oversized wraps lightly worn, small break to wraps at top of spine. Gallup C61.
